Angono Petroglyphs: Perfect for Your Family Get-away

Angono Petroglyphs in Binangonan, Rizal is a perfect place for a family get-away. Why? Here, I’ve list down:

1. Budget-friendly

  • No fees (even for parking);
  • No food stall that your child / children might persuade you to buy
  • You can bring your own packed lunch / meals without corkage fee

2. Not crowded – either it is not yet known to the general public or the numbers of people who are interested in this kind of historical places is low, that’s why you don’t have to worry, primarily, for your children’s safety. They can run around and roam the area freely, but please, your supervision is highly expected still.

3. Picnic Area – since it is not crowded, there are plenty of tables available at the picnic area.

4. Historical and Nature Trip Combined – you and your child / children will learn additional insight and spend time with the nature all at once.

5. Pet-friendly – pets are allowed inside, including in the picnic area, but there are certain areas which they are restricted, and please, still be a responsible pet owner.

What is expected inside the Petroglyphs? You can watch the virtual tour here: Angono Petroglyphs Virtual Tour , but if you prefer reading, I can describe the place to you the best way I can, and yes, of course, I will provide pictures.

Angono Petroglyphs contains and preserves the imprinted historical way of living of the ancient community in that place. The eco-park showcases centuries-old handwriting of our ancestors imprinted on the rocks as well as the caves they made to serve as rooms for themselves. Anyway, here’s the photo to explain it further:
